River cacao bars have a small family tree. Amara and Shiro are the parents: Amara is darker, bitter and cacao-forward; Shiro is white, creamy and milk-forward.

Fragile is the first child of that pair. It is made from half Amara and half Shiro, so the recipe lands in the middle: 50% cacao, 33% milk powder and 18% cocoa butter.

Tato is the next generation. It is made from half Fragile and half Shiro. That keeps it between Amara and Shiro, but it clearly takes more from the white, creamy side.

That is why Tato feels nostalgic. It is inspired by the kind of creamy milk bar people remember from childhood, but the River version keeps the recipe cleaner and avoids added sugar.

The visual idea follows the recipe. Tato has a softer brown side like Fragile and a white side like Shiro, so the bar shows where it comes from before you even taste it.
